Company Trip Getaway 2022: Fun-filled Bonding Time & Late Night Conversations

A company trip getaway is more than just an escape from the daily grind. It’s an opportunity to connect with colleagues outside of the office and to build deeper relationships that can improve teamwork and collaboration. On our recent trip, we experienced all of that and more.

We all know our colleagues in a professional setting, but what about outside of work? Before heading to our getaway destination, we discovered a whole new side of our colleagues through a competitive laser tag game. It was hilarious to see our usually reserved colleagues running around, dodging lasers, and shouting out instructions. We were all in it together, cheering each other on, and strategizing how to beat the other team. We laughed until our sides hurt and felt an immense sense of “kiasu-ness” and team spirit.

From the moment we arrived at Setia Alam, we were excited to explore our surroundings and enjoy the change of scenery. But what really made the trip special was the chance to get to know each other on a personal level.

We bonded over shared experiences like hiking and fun games, but the real magic happened when we stayed up late just to talk. We talked about our hobbies, our families, and our dreams for the future. We laughed, shared stories, and learned more about each other than we ever could have in the office.

It’s amazing how a change of setting can bring people together. We may have been colleagues before the trip, but now we’re friends. And that connection will undoubtedly make us a stronger team moving forward.

Not only did our company trip provide us with a chance to bond and get to know each other on a personal level, but it also helped to align us with the company’s vision. As we engaged in team-building activities and discussions, we were able to connect our individual goals and aspirations with the goals and aspirations of the company. This alignment has given us a renewed sense of purpose and motivation to work towards our shared vision.

Last but not least, to honor our Malaysian “Fei-lou”ship culture, we shared delicious food and indulged in local cuisine, providing yet another way to connect with each other. These moments provided a chance to relax and have fun, reminding us that work is not just about being professional and getting the job done, but also about building relationships and enjoying life.

In the end, the memories we made on our company trip will stay with us for years to come. We returned to work feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and closer than ever. We’re already looking forward to the next trip and the chance to make even more memories together.
